It’s odd not having Jeremy here tonight. Feels like we’re missing a piece of the family we’ve built over these last weeks. It’s strange — you wouldn’t expect that a handful of guys who hardly knew each other would get so close only over the course of a few weeks — but after meeting three, four times a week for hours to work very intimately on a labor of love — bonds form. It’s like war.
We’ve gotten into a groove that works pretty flawlessly. Everyone shows, we b-s around for a little bit and talk about the last days that have gone by - Phil usually has something to ask me about websites since he’s a graphic artist as well (illustrating the sides of RVs which is a larger medium than I’ll ever scribble on) and Adrian and I usually have some last minute changes based on cutting issues we’ve seen in the assembly. Then, we do some references photos and get to work. And I end up on the couch working on tentative schedules or budget concerns.
Tonight, we had to redo (and finish) some of the dinner scene, though I think we’re over-boarding it for the purposes of a trailer. Regardless, it has to get done. The more we cut means the more we had to work from - and the more we have to work from, the better.
I took a break from Excel to write this. Ryan’s wearing camouflage. I asked him if he’s goin’ hunting. He doesn’t know yet.

Depends if he gets fired, too.
