I sit frustrated and lonely on Adrian’s couch. My stomach grumbles since dinner wasn’t on the table tonight and I had to resolve myself to eating a Lunchable before rushing down here. When I get home tonight, I won’t have Micam to say goodnight to. And Chris won’t be there to fight with about my absence. It will be Dad and me alone, again. I’m not looking forward to it. I don’t want to go home tonight.
For a little while earlier, I stared at the plaster on Adrian’s ceiling and imagined what Anna would really feel like if she was truly stumbling around caverns in the near center of the earth after watching her Dad get shot to death. She’d be dirty, and starving and panicked in the dark. She would be delirious and dodging monstrous subterranean creatures. She would be looking for somewhere to pee.
Day 13
I’m lost and I need to pee. I just saw a millipede the size of a school bus. I think it spoke to me, but it was all in tongues. I think it asked me if I’d ever had Puerto Rican rum. I answered politely, no, but I went sailing with Captain Morgan once and nearly drowned.
I really, really don’t want to go home tonight.
Adrian and I have been discussing how we need to back off for a few days and give Phil a break. It’s almost November, we’re not done and there is no way we’re going to be done in the next couple of days no matter how hard we push. I think Phil likes the idea. He was growling earlier out of frustration even though we owned a lot of boards tonight.

Oooh… creepy. Never talk to strange centipedes/millipedes by the way. Can lead to interesting results.
Also, nice to see A’Gaeris making his big entrance.
