  • Whoa, whoa, whoa…is it THAT John Howe?!

  • Switzerland, huh? I’d say…yup, THAT John Howe!
    http://www.john-howe.com/biography/bio.htm

  • My apologies…I forgot to add “HOLY CRAP!!”

  • HOLY CRAP!!

    Done.

    This is significantly cool news…:D

You know, don’t you, Mysteriacs, that you can make use of us. We could be your tor.n. Just sayin’.

  • I would say Holy Crap, but I have no idea who John Howe is, yet. Instead I will say that I wish guys had better hand writting. Most guys handwritting is illegible. If you had better handwritting, I would be able to read your last names and do my stalking properly. :)
*sigh* Oh well. Back to stalking Deius…… I mean the person who’s name starts with a “D”.

  • OMG! TY Deius! I now know who John Howe is and can’t believe I didn’t remember before. I will just ask everyones forgiveness for my brain being in neutral on this one and go bang my head against a wall till it I can get it into gear.

  • Lynnutte, the finest handwriting in the universe would not solve your stalking problem, since their last names are not ON those documents. ;)

  • Lynnutte, the difference between stalking P & A and stalking…uh, someone whose name starts with “D” is that P & A have something worth finding out about.

  • John Howe … as in … THE John Howe? :o

  • I just may die now.

  • Adrian P. and Patrick A.? I would have expected Adrian V. and Patrick M. Did you guys change your names in the last few years?

  • No, we just Photoshopped out our last names on the envelope. Patrick’s middle name is Aaron. Mine is Paul. Clever, aren’t we? :)

  • Not clever enough: I just obtained more top-secret movie information from you. Now we know your middle names!

  • Robert The Rebuilderreply

Psst – gorobay: the full beans are spilled here.

And guess what: they’re the ones who spilled ‘em!

  • Yeah, I knew that. But they didn’t give away their middle names there, therefore we have more information.

  • Did he do the concept art we saw on the site at the beginning?

  • The concept piece you’ve seen thus far was done by another very talented concept artist named Christopher Petrocchi.

  • *runs off to google him* He has a cool site, and also worked on LotR. Yeah!!

  • A note..
You may wish to enlist the talents of Bear McCreary for the music. He does the music for the new Battlestar Galactica. I have long felt should be put to use on something to do with D’ni. I have bought all three seasons worth of music, so if you would like to have a listen (I don’t know where you’re located, or if Galactica airs there), just email me and I’ll send you a few samples.

  • “A note..

Funny you should mention that :)

  • Really, cuz I think Jack Wall is the obvious choice. I loved what he did for Exile and Revelation. But there are many good soundtrack artists out there.

  • Ha ha, I would second Jack Wall if this were going to be a more “mysty” film — as it stands, I feel it’s probably got more to do with D’ni than anything, as that’s what the books were mainly concerned with.

However, if it is a film adaptation of Book of Atrus… well, he’d do swell.

  • I think, indeed, that Bear McCreary would be an excellent choice for Music!

  • myst fanaticreply

as far as musicians go (sorry guys for being so rude about the composer: ( ), i think that the origional composers are good. Jack wall, Tim Larkin, etc. but I can’t say i’ve heard McCreary’s work very much. But i am most certainly looking into it.

  • Jack Wall did Exile, beautiful job of it too.

To this day, of all the Myst soundtracks I own, Jack Wall’s Myst III one is the one I carry with me at all times (amongst my other 9 top picks to have at all times).

Though you guys prolly called him already :S

I hate being late to the party.

  • Actually, he got hold of us.

  • myst fanaticreply

Did he agree to help compose music!?! That would be awesome if he did! And if he agreed, did you take him up on the offer?!!!!

  • Ah, now that we know a little more about the trouble you guys had finding an artist this entry is all the more exciting! :)
