For The Press - A Project Summary

Nov
05

I spoke with Tony on the phone earlier today.  It had been a while since we’d connected.  I just wanted to touch base and let them know we’re still working.  We had a good chat.  He filled me in on the happenings on their end and we talked a bit about our plans.   Toward the end of the call he asked me if I could send them the most recent version of the script.  They’re ready to have a look.  I’m not quite sure we’re ready, but…

I just sent the email about ten minutes ago, and I’m feeling a little shaky.  This will be their first reading of the actual script.  Until now, all they’ve seen is the presentation and animatic.  It’s pretty nerve-racking because the reality is, if they don’t like what we’ve been doing with the script, this could be game over.   It’s going to be a scary wait.  I hope we hear back soon.

My prediction: since you’ve made a number of posts in 2008 about writing the script, I’m guessing that Tony and co. had a number of suggested changes.

Suggested changes, or at least gave you the go-ahead so you could continue writing it. Those are my guesses.

Woo, I actually remember what I was doing on November fifth! It’s cool to look back at it and know this was happening too.
