I had a feeling, but I didn’t press. It all seemed a little too well-timed, but I didn’t want to overlook the magic of coincidence. Turns out as Adrian says to me tonight, it was indeed he (Linking_Lady) who posted the infamous originating post driving the debut of mystmovie.com. He had me going for about 3 days; believing the believable - that some curious, bored post-adolescent female Myst fan was searching random myst-related websites and domain names and happened upon it. I mean - c’mon, I’ve done the same thing before — especially last year when I was watching for the expiration of myst movie domains from the various registrars. (I’m just glad that whatever scraper-happy domain parker finally let go of our current address.)
In the end, it definitely all works out. The google links have started, the crawlers are reaching out, the visitors are coming. A little ahead of the original schedule, but hey - Adrian’s always had an itchy trigger finger.
