For The Press - A Project Summary

Jan
22

Our moral is rather low today after hearing the news of the tragic passing of actor Heath Ledger. In our three years of conceptualization, development and pre-visualization for this film Mr. Ledger was our first and only choice to portray one of the staring roles. It would have been, in all sincerity, an honor to have worked with him.

The world has lost a remarkably talented person with great depth and strength. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends in this most difficult of times

No offense guys, but who the heck are you? I mean, it’s not like you can go and ask anyone you want if they want to be in a movie and they’ll agree. You have to have money. Hiring Heath Ledger sounds kinda fishy.
If this isn’t real, fans might give you the privilege of getting dumped in a couple of prison books and becoming the second Sirrus and Achenar :P Although I must admit that if this is real and if Heath Ledger could be in it, it would be the coolest movie of all time.

Well, teh_pwnerer, they simply said that they saw Heath Ledger as a fitting actor to one of the roles; I think it’s normal for filmmakers to picture their characters being played by determined actors while the film is in pre-production. Although if they were really aiming for Ledger, they’d need a big budget, I assume… let’s hope that the Myst movie is really a big fish O_O

“No offense guys, but who the heck are you?” We’re two guys who don’t allow ourselves to be abated by obstacles. ;)

“We’re two guys who don’t allow ourselves to be abated by obstacles.”
Good on you for that!

I’ve been recommending Russell Crowe as Atrus for some time now. Consider it.

This entry just showed up at the top of the most recent list. By comparing against a Google cache copy from 14 March, the only change was the time from am to pm. No significant clues planted here, as far as I can tell…
…and just an editorial note: change staring roles to starring roles. Unless you planned to have Heath play a stoner or something. :-)

Robert, thanks. I think I’ll leave the typo. That’s funny. Yeah, I changed the time today because I realized that I had made a mistake when I posted it. No hidden meaning behind it. I promise.

OK - I believe you. :-)

Note: Originally, I was going to say, “Unless you planned to have Heath play a zombie or something.” But I thought it would have been in poor taste.

Good thing I didn’t post that, huh?

Wait - oops…
