Hey, there are a couple of things that I still don’t get about the puzzle… what was the purpose of the red-tinted image (which didn’t get to be completed) and of that sign-up page that appeared twice over the course of the puzzle?

Are you at least supposed to say if that image is a representation of D’ni? I know that there’s at least one real-world building in there

Concept Artists commonly use photoreferences in their work. It is a way to get the ball rolling. Our artist, Christopher Petrocchi, used a few architectual references given to him by us to create the rendering. This artwork is by no means the finalized version of anything. We commissioned the work to provide us with a tangible, visual representation of the world we’re creating. Its primary function is to establish tone and inspiration.

Were you guys really hacked that one time, or was that just something you put up?

I would love to know what this film’s going to follow… One of the books… the games… Myst’s history…

I wanted to post and this looks like a good spot. This is all very exciting and I’ve been following it since it started this year. I love you guys…you are awesome! Just keep plugging away at it. I’m glad you never gave up, going through all the heartache. Thanks so much for sharing it all.

BTW, where can I get the full image, above, for my desktop? Or do you have another image suitable?
