Well, if you think it would help any, you could try the time management software my husband’s been immersed in creating for the past six months or so. We’ve staked a temporary spot in the saturated world of Silicon Valley while he and his partners work night and day to get this thing flying. Today is in fact Demo Day. I wait in our little apartment for the good news that they’ve knocked the socks off a room full of potential investors.
In fact, much of what you talked about in this post rings pretty true for us as we’ll all soon return home to Seattle and attempt to succeed against the prevailing winds that blow internet startups into this glutted quarter of California.
If their risky, brilliant, blood-sweat-and-tears venture could help out yours, it would be only fitting.

Sometimes I just have to cut myself off from the internet to get anything done. the fact that you don’t have it at home probably helps.

I hate to spoil what must be - for those who know me - an amazingly terrifying image, but I was not a stripper. Are there awards for strippers? If there are, I may need to consider a career change. I like awards. They’re neat.

I did a play called “The Blue Room” in which I was required to be nude multiple times. That is what Patrick was going on about in his post. For those who are curious - It was performed at the Balcony Theatre at the Pasadena Playhouse in Pasadena, California.

The internet is a notorious time drain, it seems. Right now, for instance, I’m checking this site, and I should be studying for my behavioral neuroscience midterm. Hmm.. the pull of reading this site is too much to resist! Still, getting past writer’s block is tough. For myself, since the internet is such a distracting influence, sometimes I find it helpful to go to an inspiring place along with a pen and a notebook- it might become boring if you feel writer’s block without anything else to do, but you may soon find that with no distractions you’ll be forced into writing. Good luck!
