For The Press - A Project Summary

Feb
29

I’m being a web geek again.  I blame it on work and the things that I learn there, even though I’m a project manager and not one of the SEO guys - but you really can’t help from it seeping in.  Some major changes have occurred on the site in the last hour - most of these changes will be transparent to the readers - but not to Google and the other search engines.  I’ve just been trying to prune things up so that the engines see the right descriptions, the right keywords, the right content.  It’s been on my list, I’m just only getting to it right now.  Call it a prelude to other things coming.  I bet you’re all wondering what that means.  Well, hopefully this will be a busy weekend.

*can barely contain excitement!* I like “other things” especially when they are “coming”, and “this [irrelevant words omitted] weekend” only sweetens the deal! :D

My interest is quite peaked with what SEO changes you have made…

Anxiously awaiting these “Other Things Coming (TM)” with great interest. Reminds me of Cyan’s “Something Else (TM)”. ;)

SEO–Senior Executive Officer??

Ah, for the non-geeks: search engine optimization.

Ooh, “other things coming.” Can’t wait! :D

“Other things coming” = whoopee! :D

Eh … since I didn’t understand of a word of what you were talking about anyway (obvious non-geek here), I just pretended SEO was an abbreviation for Seoul and went along with it. :)

Ode to Seoul … has a nice ring, doesn’t it? :)

Wait, what other things? I don’t think I got the memo. :/

but the memo was delicious!

Search engines are like taxes, making you work for what they think is important. You slave under an illusion and your life is not your own. Meanwhile everyone else does what they want.
