For The Press - A Project Summary

Mar
11

There are times in which I’m writing and a scene will come out of me that just really seems to epitomize what this whole script is intended to be.  When everything just comes together, and there is a perfect balance of character, plot advancement, exposition, tone and visual richness.  It’s a rewarding feeling.  I love being able to look at a scene and know that I’ve just nailed it.  I’m having one of those moments now.

Here’s to more of those scenes!

Ooh - tell us! :D

That’s what we like to hear! :) Keep up the good work.

Ooo ooo ooo!!! Lemme see! I wanna see da spoilers! Only not really ’cause then the movie wouldn’t be new and exiting. Only not really-not really because we’d get a sweet preview. And so yeah, just feel free to do whatever you were going to do anyway.

“And so yeah, just feel free to do whatever you were going to do anyway.”

Will do. :) heh.

Yes.

When it all comes together and your heart just soars because it’s right~

Best feeling ever.

I started the Book of Ti’ana today, by the way. It feels very Verne-ish, again, what with all the digging, and I find myself kind of going “But where’s the action? :\ ” as while there’s some interesting bits I frankly don’t find geology all that exciting.
Dear Guild of Surveyors - I thought you were boring when I tried to do Mintaka (and failed) and still think that you are. No offense to Aitrus.
(also a few points where I am again shouting SHOW ME DON’T TELL ME. SHOWWWW MEEEEE.)
however I soldier on becuase there will be Anna later and Anna makes me happy (and I am wanting to get to know this Veovis fellow better. he seems eloquent and also tragic. I do like eloquent, tragic villains…)

hey, maybe that splitting headache you had was because this epiphany was coming!

Ryuu there’s a whole Veovis fanclub on UO if you search around a bit, I think you’ll find the bits about him fascinating enough ;)
(Villain? No, he’s just misunderstood.. not to mention he’s also dark and mysterious…^^)

Junee - Like how deviantART seems to have a rather suspicious number of Sirrus fangirls? :P

“Junee - Like how deviantART seems to have a rather suspicious number of Sirrus fangirls?”

Guilty as charged XD You’re right, there are a lot of us. . .

Anyway, I’m glad that the script is going well! It’s nice to hear good news! ^-^

I hope Rick Berman didn’t feel the same way when he killed off Kirk and Data. ;)

Wooo! Isn’t that just the most amazing feeling ever? :D Hurray for epiphanies and yeah, just keep doing whatever it was you were gonna do!

Adrian, I received the pages last night, Thanks so much! I did accidently purge the first one, opps, sorry! There hasn’t been time to start reading as of yet but I will sometime tonight.

“I did accidently purge the first one, opps, sorry!” Ah, that’s ok - it was just the scene with the hopping monkeys and Smokey the Bear watching Atrus and Catherine consumate their marriage. :-)

“it was just the scene with the hopping monkeys and Smokey the Bear watching Atrus and Catherine consumate their marriage.” … too funny, but seriously, how did you know?

Tray, I love that part!!

Patrick, good to know. I thought I was the only one! Plus, no one has ever given Smokey the credit he deserves. I mean, seriously… how many fires does a bear have to put out before he gets to witness some real action? Thank you Adrian and Patrick for giving Smokey this chance, thank you.

Actually, Tira deserves credit for Smokey (see her comment here). Think of it as a running gag.

Tray: while Tira has introduced herself, we haven’t heard your story yet. Or at least, I don’t think you’ve been mentioned in P & A’s posts to date - which is quite surprising considering your ready access to the script. How did you come to know the dynamic duo?

[Tray] - How did you come to know the dynamic duo? Wow, that’s just a can of worms, isn’t it?

Have you ever noticed how hard it is to keep the worms in once the can has been opened?

And also how Myst fans become fishermen in this analogy? ;)

Hmmm…

I’m trying to think of a good answer here.

“Yes” is always a good bet. Works for just about anything. :)

“So, Tray, how did you meet these guys?”
“Yes”

oh ok, sounds good!
… “yes”

Well said

thank you, I thought of it myself ; )

Opps, sorry… this is turning into a chat.

Oh, that Tracie. She’s a silly one!

; )

Sometimes it’s amazing, the volume of text one can read without actually learning anything.

Many thousands of years ago, The Book of Tradrian was written…

We were an item years ago.

Many thousands of years ago, The Book of Tradrian was written…

Is this a clue? Hmmmm

I love it ~ thats awesome.

Robert The Rebuilder
Mar 14 2008

You two seem to be on good terms now, so I can only assume that Tracie is not [the girlfriend] as mentioned in your various Hell posts of October 2005?

Gratzi.

*Still hoping to see the Trailer for all of this sometime soon*

Oh, if I haven’t said so already, good luck with Hollywood!

No, I am not the girlfriend he spoke of in the various Hell posts from Oct 2005. That being said, I could easily be viewed as Hell circa 1995, 96, and maybe even 97′… ; )

Robert The Rebuilder
Mar 17 2008

LOL! XD

*me waits for Adrian’s 1995-97 journal entries to be revealed*

Robert,
I think Adrian would agree, that in itself could be a movie..lol
