Counting Words Instead of Sheep

I finally gave up on sleep at around 4:45. After about 3 hours of tossing and turning, it became pretty apparent that it was a lost cause. I’ve ventured out into the chill of the morning to – of all things – go to Starbucks for some coffee.

Sleep is not usually so elusive for me. I’d say that it is probably the life skill at which I am most proficient. I’m not really sure what’s going on with me.

The upside is that I now have more time to devote to the completion of the script. For all of my talk about loving sleep and not understanding those who feel there isn’t enough time in a day, I’ve really started to empathize. Everything in my life has just stopped. All energies have been focused on the singular goal of typing the words “FADE OUT:” The sooner that comes, the better off we’ll all be.

Well, congratulations – you just typed them!
    :D

  • Don’t write them! Then the movie will end! Then I’ll be sad. :(

    Until the next movie… ;)

    ^_^ Good one Rob.

As for Adrian, I think we’ve all had nights like that.

Snarky tagline: So quit whining and get back to work.

Nice tagline: But hey, the script is getting done so it’s all good.

  • Keep fighting the good fight, Adrian. :)

  • Keep yourself going, man.

Be sure to let us know when it’s done, a’ight?

  • The [read more] link on the What’s New page does not work for this entry.

  • Be happy…

At least you can turn your head to the left…or at all.

  • Yes, that’s one of the things I always remember to be thankful for….

  • I want to sing…”To dream the impossible dream
    To fight the unbeatable foe
    To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

    To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
    To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest to follow that star
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far
    To fight for the right
    Without question or pause
    To be willing to march
Into hell for a heavenly cause

And I know if I’ll only be true
    To this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I’m laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
    To reach the unreachable star
    The fight the unbeatable foe
    To dream the impossible dream

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
    To reach the unreachable star
    To fight the unbeatable foe
    To dream the impossible dream

Go for it my friends and reach that unreachable star…..and make our dreams come true…

  • The best thing about Les Mis was…nothing…nothing at all…nothing ever, anything at all.

  • That wasn’t Les Mis, it was Man of La Mancha.

  • HA!

Oh yeah…oops. Okay, well, Les Mis still sucks. Man of La Mancha is good.
