Huh, wow, that is funny, I've had MT books forever but I never read them....would've been such a coincidence if I did!
So wasn't Myst first? Or did MT come first?

We've only read two of the MT books, but so far they did need the book to be transported and they needed the Pennsylvania book to get back home. But more importantly, I find it interesting that some of you want to compare the two series...the MT books are written for 5 - 8 year olds and are about 60 pages. It's just "an interesting coincidence" that my son discovered them at the same time that his uncle is working on a similary themed project.

The books in the magic tree house books are really arbitrary. They only exist as a mechanism to put the characters in historical situations so that we can educate the childrens about history.

I've read a few magic treehouse books before. Good series. i just read it for times when i was bored, and i only read like the first 10 copies. But Myst beats magic Treehouse by a long shot. In theirs, they just go into their treehouse, read one of the books, and their treehouse gets transported somewhere either in time or into a story.

so, yea, the Myst Linking books are a bit similar, but Linking books are much better. in the Magic Treehouse, they always had to keep track of where their treehosue was in case of an emergency. In myst, they just had to have another Linking book. But that's just my opinion nothing big.

p.s. you spelt having wrong in the hyperlink.

>_> highly doubt the Mysteriacs will agree... but it WOULD be nice to finally see that "Scene Missing" moment.

First time I saw that thing, I saw SCENE MISSING and screamed. Lol, good times.

You should post the infamous "deleted scene" today to coincide with the earthquake. "Earthquake Uncovers Evidence of Ancient Civilization Hidden in Earth's Core. Film at 11:00."

Nicky and Micam are waiting...

My lord, have fun?

Sounds kinda crappy of a day, but at least we know you're alright. As long as you're "okay" then we're all happy.

BTW, be sure not to eat foods with salt. They'll kill your hand O_o
