For The Press - A Project Summary

May
18

So tired….  I think this project is finally catching up with me.  I’ve slept more than I’ve been awake the past three days, and yet I’m still completely exhausted.  We’re talking 14 hours of sleep followed by two or three hours of wakefulness (tired wakefulness) and then more sleep.  Not only is my body tired, but I’m having a lot of trouble with my eyes.  Starting immediately after waking up, they have that heavy feeling you get when you’ve been awake for over 24 hours and they won’t quite focus on anything.  They feel sort of like they’re gonna pop out of my head.  It’s like being drunk - without the pleasant buzz.

I finally broke down and went to the doctor about an hour ago.  They’ve drawn some blood to try to figure out what’s going on.  At first, I thought I was just making up for the hours of lost sleep over the past couple of weeks, but there’s just no reason for me to still be this tired after the copious amounts of sleep I’ve had.

Wait for results now, I guess…

Hope you’re feeling better soon.

Sometimes getting too much sleep all at once can make your body tired too.

Dude that sucks! I hope everything is OK!

Your pushing yourself too hard. Just getting more sleep isn’t gonna help. I hate to say this but you need to spend some time not working on the movie script. Take a week off for a vacation. Play some video games, walk a beach (if one is nearby), garden! Then after you feel better come back and tackle that script with a clear head.

I hope it is exhaustion. We can’t have you going blind on us! :)

I sincerely hope that this is just tired … and how is your appetite? take care of you please !!!

Maybe you should stop writing for a long while.

I get a headache when I sleep more than ten hours per night, 14 hours would make me a zombie! If the doctor can’t find anything I’d say get out and move your body a bit. I don’t really like exercising myself so I’m not going to push that on you, but fresh air really do wonders. When I get up early in the morning I don’t wake up until I step outside the door. ;)

Too much sleep does damage too. I usually have at least one day a week where I stay in bed around 12-16 hours. I end up feeling worse than days where I only sleep 3 hours and run like a headless chicken for 18! There is a word for it too… exhaustion! I suggest taking up a new hobby that causes considerably less stress. Like… yoga? :D

Watch Star Trek a Billion times!!!

Hope you don’t have mono. First time I had that I slept for a month straight and lost 30lbs. I’m not kidding, I actually slept for a month straight, only waking to take pills and use the bathroom every two days. Don’t get mono.
